RATIONALE
These posters promote a number of Black Lives Matter events in the Massachusetts area. Given the serious subject matter, I chose a bold typeface to convey the power and strength of the movement. The use of the letter “B” as a fist is a powerful symbol for the Black Lives Matter movement, representing unity, strength, and solidarity. The cut-outs within the letter make the symbol even more distinguishable, adding a unique and memorable visual element to
the design.

WHY IT MATTERS…
Through my poster designs for Black Lives Matter events around Massachusetts, I aimed to amplify the movement's message of equality and justice. By visually representing the importance of the Black Lives Matter movement, I hoped to inspire solidarity, raise awareness, and encourage meaningful conversations about racial injustice and systemic racism in our communities.
